PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the possibility of attaching dust, etc., generated on cartridge assembly because a disk is mounted into a cartridge beforehand on the cartridge assembly. SOLUTION: In this cartridge 1 which is constituted by interposing an opening and closing member 8 and fixing covers 5, 6 on a side surface 7, the opening and closing member 8 is opened and an information medium 2 is mounted. Thereafter, bar members 17 are penetrated from cover penetrating holes 15 and are fitted to tongue penetrating holes which are disposed on tongues which are extended parts of the opening and closing member 8. Because the information medium 2 is mounted after the cartridge 1 is assembled, the influence of dust, etc., on the fixation of the cartridge can be suppressed.
