PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase lead for rotating electric machine capable of restraining overheat generation without increasing the cross section of a conductor. SOLUTION: Three phase leads 6A, 6B and 6C from coil ends 2A and 2B and 2C are shifted and disposed so that the long side of each of their cross sections is disposed in the peripheral direction, the three leads are disposed in the peripheral and same direction sequentially, and parts of them are overlapped in the peripheral direction. As a result, cooling air B comes into direct contact with all the phase leads 6A, 6B and 6C to improve cooling conditions. Thus, the distance between conductors increases, to reduce loss generation.
