PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated chip inductor, which can be easily used to perform the measurement of inductance value and Q-value in the product test for the actual mounting, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same laminated chip inductor. SOLUTION: The laminated chip inductor 20 is provided with a laminate 4 provided therein with a coil, an external electrode terminal 8 connected to both ends of coil provided at both ends of the laminate 4, and identification markers 22, 24 respectively provided to mounting surface 4a and a circumferential side face 4b facing the mounting surface of the laminate 4. Two identification markers 22, 24 are colored with different colors or are given different patterns. Direction of markers is set, so that the mounting surface is directed upward at the time of product test with reference to an identification marker 24 of the mounting surface at the time of product test. A measuring terminal is pressed to the external electrode terminal from the upper side for the measurement of inductance value and Q-value.
