PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soft magnetic particles for motor or electromagnetic actuator, which are advantageous to increase the resistivity of a motor or electromagnetic actuator, while increasing the permeability of the motor or actuator, a method of manufacturing the particles, a soft magnetic molded body for motor or electromagnetic actuator, and a method of manufacturing the molded body. SOLUTION: The soft magnetic particles are manufactured by coating iron powder and particles, containing iron as the main component with soft ferrite layers. A step of reducing the number of crystal grains can be performed as necessary on the iron powder and particles. In the method of manufacturing soft magnetic particles for motor or electromagnetic actuator, a step of preparing powder aggregates containing the soft magnetic particles for motor or electromagnetic actuator as main component and a coupling step of obtaining the soft magnetic molded body, by coupling the aggregates with each other through press-molding the aggregates are performed.
