PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing operation device capable of improving a contact failure and abrasion of a contact part, even if a pushbutton is violently pressed. SOLUTION: A protrusion 5 having a spherical surface 5a is formed on the pushbutton 3, and the protrusion 5 is supported by a supporting member 6. A conical supporting surface 7 is formed on the supporting member 6, and the spherical surface 5a of the protrusion 5 abuts on the supporting surface 7. Thereby, even if the end part of the pushbutton 3 is pressed, an abutting position in a space between the spherical surface 5a and the supporting surface 7 is hardly changed. Therefore, the part 12 to be pushed on the elastic member 9 can be depressed by a surface, and a conductive part 14 can be brought into contact with contacts 21, 21 without causing a slip.
