<p>The second crutch (1) can be a nuisance when at least one hand is required for the performance of a task and the other crutch (1) is needed as support. When leaned to a vertical surface the crutch (1) will slip and fall, a special hanging or joining element is only available in very special areas. When both crutches (1) are joined to each other with their handles the stability gained is sufficient to prevent them from falling. The joint facility (2) can be designed in various shapes and made of various materials, like strips of Velcro (RTM), magnetic elements, or a special connection part engaging with matching recesses provided at at least one of handles of the crutches (1).</p> |
