<p>The profile (1) is assembled of two lateral sheets (12) and a front sheet (14) of veneered chipboard with mitered edges. A joint profile (16), made of a suitable metal, preferably of aluminum, is inserted between the edges. The profile (16) is designed as a flat central segment (18) with a flanged front area (22) and barbed extensions (20) protruding from both sides. The edges of the chipboard sheets (12, 14) are provided with bores (24) for the accommodation of the barbed extensions (20), the flanges (22) cover the gaps at the corners of the decorative profile (1).</p> |
