PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing amino resin particles having a sharp particle size distribution, and substantially including no foreign matter of the resin such as a coarse particle and a particle aggregate even in a degree of not affecting the variation coefficient, and further to provide the amino resin particles obtained by the method, and a spacer for a liquid crystal display panel obtained by using the amino resin particles. SOLUTION: This method for producing the amino resin particles comprises reacting at least one kind selected from benzoguanamine, cyclohexanecarboguanamine, cyclohexenecarboguanamine, melamine, acetoguanamine, norbornenecarboguanamine, p-toluenesulfonamide and urea, with formuldehyde to provide particles, and classifying and isolating the particles in a sate dispersed in a solvent containing an aliphatic and/or aromatic hydrocarbon as an essential component.
