PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin holder and a yarn winding device capable of winding a yarn at a high speed without enlarging the diameter of the bobbin. SOLUTION: This bobbin holder has a holder member 2, in which a bobbin 11 is to be fitted, a support member 4 for supporting the holder member freely to turn, and a motor 7 for driving the holder member. The holder member is provided with a pushing means for pushing the bobbin to be fitted in the holder member to a motor side and a positioning member 2a for positioning the bobbin to be pushed.
