METHOD FOR ANNOUNCING WIRED AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION PROVIDER DURING CALL WAITING

PURPOSE: A method for announcing a wired and wireless communication provider during call connection waiting is provided to transmit information on the wired and wireless communication provider subscribed by the called party to a wired and wireless terminal of a calling party by including the information in a call connection sound, until the call is connected. CONSTITUTION: A calling wired and wireless terminal attempts a call with a called wired and wireless terminal(S102). A connection call is delivered to a provider network, and the provider network attempts a connection to a called wired and wireless terminal(S104). A connection sound server arranged in the provider network transmits a call connection sound including information on the provider to the calling wired/wireless terminal therein through a base station(S106). The provider network decides whether the called wired and wireless terminal receives the call(S108). If so, the transmission of the call connection sound is ended(S110), and if not, the step S106 is returned to transmit the call connection sound.
