PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording sheet which can form an image high in resolution and density, is excellent in light resistance, holds the image stably without generating bleeding with the passage of time even when stored for a long time under high-temperature, high-humidity environment, and is excellent in production aptitude. SOLUTION: In the ink-jet recording sheet having a coloring matter accepting layer on the surface of a support, the coloring matter accepting layer is coated with a dispersion of fine cationic inorganic particles which is greater than 4.5 in pH and contains at least fine particles of an inorganic pigment and an aggregation preventing agent.
