PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label having a simple construction capable of naturally conducting various indications of a content, showing gas vent function only by being stuck on an upper surface of a cover having a gas vent hole and being easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The label 10 is used for a packaging container 20 comprising a container main body 21 and a cover 22 for sealing a content wherein the label 10 is provided with a base material 11 having a cut expected to enclose a gas vent hole 23 arranged on the cover 22 and stuck on the cover 22 and a gas permeable material 13 stuck on the base material 11 to cover the cut 12 and when the label 10 is stuck on the cover 22, the gas permeable material 13 covers the gas vent hole 23 of the cover 22.
