PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device where overheat in the paper non-passing area of a heating roll and a belt is restrained and by which a high-quality fixed image is obtained at low cost. SOLUTION: This fixing device is equipped with a paper feed part having a paper feed position control means for controlling so that a recording sheet 16 may be fed to the specified paper feed position C of the fixing device, and a heat sink 70 having an air blower 80 for cooling the part of a fixing belt 64 on an opposite side to a side where the sheet 16 is fed to lower temperature than at a part on the side where the sheet 16 is fed. |
