PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seated state detection apparatus for self-diagnosing whether the apparatus itself is functioning normally or not. SOLUTION: The seated state detection apparatus judges that the detection apparatus itself has failed when the total value of each load to be detected by each load sensor and belt tension are within a first abnormal region 15 where an upper limit 151 of the first abnormal region 15 for judging the load total value to the belt tension to be abnormal is set so that the upper side limit 151 becomes larger as the belt tension becomes larger, or when the total value of each load to be detected by each load sensor and belt tension are within a second abnormal region 16 where a lower side limit 161 of the second abnormal region 16 for judging the load total value to the belt tension to be abnormal is set so that the lower side limit 161 becomes larger as the belt tension deviates from the minimum point 162. |
