PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient light emitting element maintaining high brightness for a long time and little in degradation caused by charging electricity. SOLUTION: This novel metal coordination compound is expressed by general formula (1): MLmL'n [wherein M expresses a metal atom of Ir, Pt, Rh or Pd; L and L' express each a different bidentate ligand; the partial strtucture MLm is expressed by general formula (2) or (3); the partial structure L'n is expressed by general formula (4) or (5); N, O and C are nitrogen atom, oxygen atom and carbon atom, respectively; A' and A'' express each a cyclic group which may have a substituent bonded to the metal atom M through a nitrogen atom; B, B' and B'' express each a cyclic group which may have a substituent bonded to the metal atom through a carbon atom]. |
