PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform display method of a measuring device, capable of freely setting the relative positions between superimposed waveforms without any increase in capacity of an internal memory storing measurement data even in the case of using a comparison waveform display function. SOLUTION: A mark is put on the head position of a waveform to be compared and displayed by a user, whereby with reference to the mark, a comparison waveform is displayed, and the start position of the comparison waveform is set to the left end of a screen display area 2, that is, substantially to the left end of the display screen. That is, on the screen, an arbitrary position designated by the mark is stored as an address in the first storage area 1, and a waveform having the stored address at the beginning is made coincident with an address positioned at the left end of the screen displaying the waveform to be compared and displayed to be displayed on the screen.
