PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative gold colored coating film which has excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance in spite of its being an ornamental coating film with a light gold color tone of high-grade impression and in which color-tone control at production can be facilitated and also economical advantage can be produced because the amount of gold used can be reduced. SOLUTION: A gold - nickel alloy coating film is formed by a dry plating method to form a high-hardness coating film and facilitate the control of a color tone. Moreover, because of hardness higher than that of a wet-plated film, film thickness can be reduced and economical advantage can be produced. Further, extremely high wear resistance and corrosion resistance can be added by forming a hard undercoat film having a color tone close to that of the gold - nickel alloy film by a dry plating method.
