PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the cost of circuits concerned with resist sensors is increased as the number of the sensors is increased in resist patterns in the conventional tandem-system color image forming apparatus and a resist slippage detecting system for detecting the resist patterns. SOLUTION: In a color image forming apparatus in which resist patterns are formed by two lines or more in a main scanning direction on the constituting member in the device or on the object of image formation and image forming timing is corrected based on detected results of these patterns, formation positions of respective lines of the resist patterns are formed by being shifted respectively in the sub-scanning direction. |
