AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF COLORED FINE PARTICLE, WATER-BASED INK FOR INK JET RECORDING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING WATER-BASED INK FOR INK JET RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of colored fine particles excellent in storage stability, having high light resistance of color image and high concentration and excellent in color tone for good reproducibility of color, and water- based ink for ink jet recording using the water-based dispersion and to provide a method for producing the water-based ink. SOLUTION: The water-based dispersion of colored fine particles comprises at least one kind of dye represented by general formula (28) and a polymer. The water-based ink for ink jet recording comprises aqueous dispersion of the colored fine particles. The method for producing the water-based ink for ink jet recording containing the aqueous dispersion of the colored fine particles comprises a step for emulsifying and dispersing an oil phase obtained by dissolving at least one kind of the dye into an organic solvent having a low boiling point into an aqueous medium and then removing the organic solvent having the low boiling point from the dispersion. Specifically, the compound represented by formula D-16 is exemplified as the dye represented by general formula (28).
