PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating stripper which can be made small-sized relatively easily and is lowered in manufacture cost. SOLUTION: The heating stripper 10 in which the vicinity of an end part of the coating 12 of an optical fiber cord 13 having the coating 12 at its outer circumference, is heated by a heater block 14 having a heating element 15 inside, to remove the coating 12 in the vicinity of the optical fiber cord 13, and the heating element 15 is made of a material having such a PTC characteristic that the electric resistance increases at specific temperature and applied with a specific voltage to maintain the heating temperature at the specific temperature. |
