PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact screening device and method for a light source filter capable of long-term high-reliability prevention of irradiation leak and of easy replacement of colored filters. SOLUTION: The device comprises a colored filter covering the whole irradiation opening of the light source housing and a screening fabric material installed to stay in contact constantly and elastically with the circumference of the filter. In this method, since the flocked fabric member of the fabric material provides a long-term screening effect thanks to its appropriate elasticity and flexibility, irradiation leak along the filter circumference is prevented for a long time with high reliability. |
