PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ventilator with a shutter capable of maintaining and inspecting from an outdoor side. SOLUTION: The ventilator with the shutter comprises a wind tunnel 1 mounted at a partition wall for partitioning an interior and an exterior of a room in a state in which the tunnel 1 is passed through the interior and the exterior of the room, a blower 2 mounted in the tunnel 1 to form a ventilating flow in the tunnel 1, and the opening/closing shutter 3 mounted at an opening 4 of an outdoor side of the tunnel 1 for opening/closing the tunnel 1. The ventilator further comprises an assembly of an inner frame 15 for attaching and detaching the shutter 3 to and from the tunnel 1 from the outdoor side and a blade 16 pivoted rotatably and horizontally to the frame 15. The ventilator also comprises a bowl-shaped blade guard 7 constituted of a linear member covering an impeller 6 and provided in an opening of an indoor side of the tunnel 1 in such a manner that the guard 7 is formed in a dividing structure dividable into an outer peripheral part and a central part and the central part can be detached from and attached to the tunnel 1 from the outdoor side.
