PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet delivery device allowing positive passage and discharge of sheets such as cards through a carrier path without being overlapped and the stacking thereof on a stacking part in the order of numbers provided on the sheets. SOLUTION: The sheet delivery device comprises a delivery belt part 20 for delivering the sheets S out of a feeding part 12 where the sheets S are stacked and placed, a gate roller part 40 located at the delivery belt part 20 for delivering the sheets S one by one out of the feeding part 12, and a carrying belt mechanism 60 for delivering the sheets out of the gate roller 40. The gate roller part 40 is provided with a gap adjusting mechanism 50 for adjusting a gap between a roller body 43 and a delivery belt by moving the roller body 43 up and down or oscillating it in the cross direction of the carrier path.
