PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a take-up device for a shutter for a building so as to reduce its weight and cost. SOLUTION: A winding drum D supported turnably on a fixed shaft 8 so as to wind a shutter curtain 1 is constituted by a plurality of resin-made wheels 6, 7, 9, 10 fitting in the fixed shaft 8 externally and turnably by leaving a predetermined interval in the axial direction, a semicylindrical stay 12 connecting one half parts of outer peripheral parts of the wheels 6, 7, 9, 10 integrally, and a semicylindrical reinforcing plate 13 connecting a section opposing to a part for storing energizing elastic machine 11 of the stay 12 in the peripheral direction.
