SOLUTION: The prophylactic or therapeutic for organ functional disorder, organ insufficiency, obesity and their deuteropathy includes a compound having the action to increase ubiquinone or salts or prodrugs thereof. The ubiquinone- increasing agent includes a compound having the squalene synthase inhibitory action or its salts and prodrugs.
