PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system which can be constituted of small and inexpensive devices by making it possible to perform printing within a specified range at a plurality of positions on the print face of a recording medium, e.g. a CD-R (Compact Disk-Recordable). SOLUTION: Upon ending first time (first position) print in a specified print range H of an optical disc 4 mounted on the tray 5 of a printer 1 by a print mechanism, the tray 5 ejects the optical disc 4 on the tray 5 to a position where the optical disc 4 can be taken out or changing operation can be performed through driving of a tray stop mechanism in response to transmission of an ink jet signal or through action of a tray push out mechanism incident thereto. When print is set at two positions through setting of print layout, a print dialogue screen presenting an image and a guidance for changing the position of the optical disc 4 mounted on the tray 5 with respect to the print mechanism so that it corresponds with the second time print position is displayed. |
