PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit capable of surely executing the change of a state of a object device or the like without losing the consis tency of logic regardless of whether a object system is in a normal situation or in an abnormal situation and to provide an information processing method realized by that kind of information processing unit. SOLUTION: This information processing unit is characterized in that when a command for changing a state of a hardware is executed, it tries the state change of the hardware by a software such as utility before the state of the hardware such as a radio generation device is forcibly changed. The state of the object device or the like can be surely changed without losing the consistency of logic.
