PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing colored contact lenses which is applicable to raw material movements of contact lenses having poor solubility of vat dyes and makes it possible to easily obtain the colored contact lenses having high fastness free of dyeing unevenness. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the colored contact lenses comprising polymerizing a composition prepared by suspending the vat dyes having a particle size below 6μm into at least one kind of polymerizable monomer and molding the composition to a contact lens shape is provided.
