PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device capable of changing a hanging root part of a screen, giving the symmetrical property on the right and left sides to opening and closing operations of movable cases provided at both ends of the screen, and improving the operation property. SOLUTION: The movable cases 5A, 5B are connected with both ends of a net 2 expansible freely by folding back alternately in the reverse directions to open and close the net freely at an arbitrary position between side frames 6A and 6B on the right and left sides in a building opening part by pulling the movable cases horizontally. A flexible guide member 12 guiding a lower end of the net 2 is bent and comes in and out of the inside from lower parts of both movable cases 5A, 5B in accordance with the expansion and shrinkage of the net and guides the lower end of the net when it is led along the lower end of the net which is in a stretched condition.
