PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging device and a hanging execution method capable of efficiently and easily carrying out mounting work of a mounted substance to a beam member. SOLUTION: The execution method for hanging the mounted substance on the beam member 16 by means of the hanging device equipped with a hanging device body 18 having the lower end fixed to the mounted substance and a fixing device 20 fitted to the beam member 16. The fixing device 20 includes a screw hole 50a screwing a bolt 24 thereon and a constrained section 56 for constraining the hanging device body 18 from the opposite side to the beam member 16, and the hanging device body 18 includes a head section insertion hole 26 inserting a bolt head section 24a therein and a passage allowable section 58 passing through a holding section 56. When the fixing device 20 is fitted to the beam member 16, the bolt head section 24a temporarily fixed to the screw hole 50a and the constrained section 56 respectively pass through the head section insertion hole 26 and the passage allowable section, and after the passage, the hanging device body 18 is lifted and lowered to clamp the bolt 24 at a proper height position, and the hanging device body 18 is fixed to the fixing device 20.
