PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-light emitting structure which utilizes LEDs having many advantages, such as low electric power consumption, low heat generation and maintenance-free reliability, forms the spot light sources of such LEDs into a surface-light source which is made applicable to various kinds of fields, such as indicator lamps of emergency exit guidepaths. SOLUTION: This surface-light emitting structure is combined with LEDs 1 which emit UV rays of a wavelength from 400 to 280 nm, and surface-light emitting bodies 2 which are excitably by the UV rays emitted by the LEDs 1 and consist of resins, glass, films, paper, fibers or cloth containing phosphors or light storage bodies.
