PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control needless consumption of recording paper in a color image forming apparatus compensating deviation in image position based on an image position deviation detecting pattern formed on the recording paper. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, developing stations which are installed in the number of two or more, a recording paper reversing means reversing the front and back of the recording paper, a patch forming means forming a specified test patch on the recording paper and a control means forming the test patch on the front surface of the recording paper and forming an image based on an image data on the back surface of the recording paper are provided. |
