PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a program module for 16 parts conversion to convert 32-part MIDI data into sound data. SOLUTION: A MIDI data conversion method is characterized in that it is provided with a step for loading a sub-module 16- SUBMOD to a memory 12, a step for generating first sound data elements SND- a from a 16-part portion out of 32-part MIDI data D- 01 by the sub-module 16- SUBMOD and generating second sound data elements SND- b from the other 16-part portion out of the 32-part MIDI data, and a step for synthesizing the first sound data elements SND- a and the second sound data elements SND- b to generate sound data SND- D. |
