<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire trimming method capable of lowering the cut remaining height of spew to enhance the appearance of a tire and capable of performing trimming without individually arranging a trimming device, and the trimming device therefor. SOLUTION: A plurality of the trimming devices 1 are arranged to the tread part Wa and side parts Wb of the tire W immediately after vulcanization held to a post cure inflator 2. Each of the trimming devices 1 is equipped with a pair of rotationally drivable rotary bodies 3a and 3b for pulling and breaking the spews S generated on the tread part Wa and the side parts Wb and these trimming devices 1 are constituted so as to be able to advance and retreat with respect to the tread part Wa and side parts Wb of the tire W by drive means. The rotary bodies 3a and 3b are arranged to a support frame 4 in parallel to be supported in a freely rotatable manner and gears 6a and 6b capable of being meshed with each other are attached to the support shafts 5a and 5b of the rotary bodies 3a and 3b and, further, one gear 6a is meshed with the drive gear 7 connected to a drive motor.</p> |
