<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dispersion in production, to reduce a cost, and to provide an excellent phase noise characteristic. SOLUTION: In this dielectric resonator type oscillator, one terminal of an active element in a monolithic integrated circuit 24 is connected to a coupling line 3 formed on a dielectric substrate 21 by a wire 23, a dielectric resonator 1 having a columnar shape of which the bottom face has a polygonal shape of a pentagon or more is arranged on the dielectric substrate 21, and the dielectric resonator 1 is electromagnetically coupled with the coupling line 3 to constitute the dielectric resonator type oscillator. When a transceiving module used in a radar system is constituted using the dielectric resonator type oscillator, the cost of the system is reduced, and the maximum distance up to a detectable target is enlengthened.</p> |
