PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain deformation of a compartment by efficient load dispersion throughout a compartment floor at the time of collision. SOLUTION: At a lower face side of a front floor 2, a compartment protection cell structure Z of a substantially rectangular shape with high strength and stiffness is constituted of a pair of side sills 4 and center members 5, a second cross member 6 which combines them in a car width direction, and an engine 11 and a fuel tank 12 of unit components. Thus, deformation of a compartment C can be restrained by dispersing and supporting an input from a front compartment F.C throughout the cell structure Z at the time of front collision.
