PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold inserting/discharging apparatus which can prevent the increase in the length of an engagement device while using a ball screw. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a base 61, the first ball screw 63 fixed on the base, a table 86 which is moved in the longitudinal direction of the first ball screw on the base, the first ball screw nut 76 which is supported rotatably by the table and is engaged with the first ball screw, a motor 80 which is fixed on the table and rotates the first ball screw nut, the second ball screw 62 which is supported rotatably by the table, arranged in parallel to the first ball screw, and threaded inversely to the first ball screw, a belt 78 for transmitting the rotation of the first screw nut to the second ball screw, the second ball screw nut 77 which is engaged with the second screw, and an engagement member 87 which is fixed to the second ball screw nut and engaged with a mold 88 to move the mold on the table.
