PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luggage compartment door for a vehicle, having a door structure of a box-shaped luggage compartment for the vehicle, enabling a worker holding luggage to simply go in and out of the compartment. SOLUTION: In this luggage compartment door for a vehicle, a sliding door 3 is slidably mounted in a wall thickness of double doors provided to open and close the substantially half on one side of a luggage compartment carry-in and out port 11, and a comparatively thin sliding driving mechanism 4 is incorporated therein. The opening and closing end of the sliding door 3 mounted in the double doors 2 is provided with a lock fitting 51, and an automatic locking mechanism 5 is assembled in the edge part of the carry-in and out port 11 corresponding to the fitting. |
