PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorless acylacetylaminobenzimidazolone, and a colorless pigment disperser providing stable and good pigment dispersibility and fluidity and having excellent transparency. SOLUTION: This acylacetylaminobenzimidazolone is represented by general formula (1) [wherein, R<1> is an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group or an aryloxy group; R<2> is an alkyl group substituted with a lower dialkylamino group or a 5- or 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocycle, or an aryl group; X<1> and X<2> are each a single bond, oxygen, sulfur, NH, OCO, CONH, CO2 , OCONH or NACONH; A is a single bond, an alkylene group, an arylene group, an aralkylene group (which may be blocked by oxygen, nitrogen, an ester, an amide, a urethane or a urea)]. The pigment disperser contains the same. |
