摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of improving a car loading property by reducing dimensions in the height direction of the transmission while eliminating interference with a wire to synchronize left and right inclined rolling angles of a trunnion and maintaining sufficient strength to stop inclined rolling of the trunnion. SOLUTION: An inclined rolling stopper structure A1 provided on the side of a lower link 63 with a left and right inclined rolling synchronous wire 57 on it and to regulate an inclined rolling range of the trunnion 59 so that a contact point of a power roller 45 and an input and output disc is not removed from their respective rolling surfaces is constituted of a first stopper projection 71 formed on the opposite side of the left and right inclined rolling synchronous wire 57 with the lower link 63 between itself and the left and right inclined rolling synchronous wire 57 and on a surface on the same side of a lower washer 11 and a first stopper surface 81 formed on a side surface of the lower washer 11.
