PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate capable of facilitating the flow control of a discharge opening section at a narrow opening area and, at the same time, preventing the scouring damage in a concrete part by jetting of water at the narrow opening area. SOLUTION: A holding section 40 is provided to a window frame section 8 of a door stop 4, and a flow characteristic improving board 18 having the front formed in an approximately V-shape is mounted to the holding section 40 with a plurality of clamping screws 21 in a detachable manner. A rate of variation for an opening area of the discharge opening section 3 against a moving quantity of a door body 9 at a narrow opening area is reduced by the flow characteristic improving board 18, and a flow characteristic capable of corresponding to a flow controlling system at the narrow opening area required in a gate installation place can be easily obtained. A jet from part of the overall width of the discharge opening section 3 at the narrow opening area is prevented by the flow characteristic improving board 18, and water jetted out of part of the overall width is scattered by a concrete part 17 located on the back of the gate to prevent the scouring damage.
