PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ketal and/or an acetal in high selectivity, suppressing the deposition of a catalyst component when olefins are oxidized with oxygen. SOLUTION: This method for producing the ketal and/or acetal comprises carrying out an oxidizing reaction of the olefins having at least one ethylenic double bond with oxygen and an alcohol in the presence of the catalyst containing palladium. In the method, an alcohol solution containing the catalyst after recovering the reaction products from the reaction solution after the oxidizing reaction is reutilized for the oxidizing reactional system and the oxidizing reaction is carried out, maintaining the moisture content in the oxidizing reaction solution at <=20 wt.%.
