PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus by which the oxidation of rare earth elements is prevented, and hydrogen treatment can be performed with a productivity higher than that in the conventional one. SOLUTION: A hydropulverization apparatus 100 is provided with a cabinet 30 having an internal space 20 receiving a vessel 10 provided with an upper opening part, and containing a rare earth alloy lump, a gas introduction port 32 for introducing gaseous hydrogen and an inert gas into the internal space 20, and a gas exhaust port 34 for exhausting the gases in the internal space 20, a gas stream production means 40 producing a gas stream in the internal space 20, and a windbreak board 50 arranged on the stream side upper than the gas stream in the internal space 20, and reducing the intensity of the gas stream produced in the vicinity of the upper opening of the vessel 10. |
