PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor whose heat resistance, durability and the like are superior. SOLUTION: In the hydrogen gas sensor, an O-ring 21 by which part between a first support 9a and a proton conduction layer 1 is kept airtightly is arranged inside a measuring member 11a. The O-ring 21 is quadrangular frame-shaped so as to surround the circumference of a first electrode 3, its cross section is nearly circular, and it comprises elasticity, heat resistance and durability. A first metal plate 23a and a second metal plate 23b are arranged outside both supports 9a, 9b. A pair of right and left through holes 29 are formed at the hydrogen gas sensor in its sheet thickness direction, and bolts 31 are passed and inserted so as to pass the through holes 29. Consequently, when both metal plates 23a, 23b are tightened from the outside by the bolts 31 and nuts 33, the supports 9a, 9b are tightened, and the hydrogen gas sensor is fixed integrally as a whole. |
