PLATE-LIKE POLYPROPYLENE RESIN EXTRUSION FOAM HAVING FLAME RETARDANCE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a plate-like polypropylene resin extrusion foam suitably usable for a heat insulator to a building material since the foam has excellent flame retardance. SOLUTION: The plate-like polypropylene resin extrusion foam contains 0.5 to 20 pts.wt. of bromine compound (b1) as a flame retardant agent (b) to 100 pts.wt. of a polypropylene resin (a) containing 50 to 95 pts.wt. of a polypropylene resin (a1) and 50 to 5 pts.wt. of a polystyrene resin (a2), and a physical foaming agent (c) is molten and kneaded in a resin composition in which 0.1 to 20 pts.wt. of a sodium antimonate (b2) and/or 0.1 to 20 pts.wt. of a boron oxide (b3) are added, and discharged in a low-pressure range to obtain the plate-like polypropylene resin extrusion foam.
