PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weatherstrip for an automobile in which no air gap occurs due to a gas reservoir in a boundary part between a mandrel and a fine foam solid rubber and to provide a molding machine therefor. SOLUTION: The weatherstrip for the automobile comprises a U-shaped trim 2 formed by embedding the mandrel 4 in the fine foam solid rubber 3 foamed and having a specific gravity of 0.8 to 1.2. The rubber 3 has pores 7 arriving in depth at the mandrel 4 and aligned in a longitudinal direction of the weatherstrip. The continuous extrusion molding machine 10 comprises a thorny gear 13 rotating while brought into contact with the weather strip 1 to be pressed adjacently to a mouthpiece 12 of an extruder 11. Thus, the pores 1 each having the depth arriving at the mandrel 4 are formed in a row in the longitudinal direction of the weatherstrip on a preferably U-shaped groove bottom 3a of the rubber 3 by the gear 13. |
