PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily judging the relations between various variables in a plant even under an operation. SOLUTION: A conversion section 102 performs the wavelet transformation of a time series data (variables) stored in a memory section 101 to create a plurality of transformed data (wavelet transformed data Wij and wavelet intensity data Aij ) and stores the created data in the section 101. A correlation computation section 103 computes the correlation between each transformed data stored in the section 101 and stores an obtained correlation data in the section 101. A display control section 107 displays each stored correlation data with the same data rearranged in the order of values (comparison data) on a display section 106.
