<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for recovering a buried pipe from the ground and installing a new pipe at the same time, when the buried pipe is replaced to the new pipe. SOLUTION: A cable 5 is passed through inside the buried pipe 1 from one end to the other end, and a cutting tool 9 capable of axially cutting the buried pipe 1 by being forcedly towed inside the buried pipe 1 and water injection device 14 for radially injecting high pressure water are in this order connected with one end side of the cable 5. When the cable 5 is forcedly towed to the other end side of the buried pipe 1 and the buried pipe 1 is axially cut over the whole length, water is forcedly penetrated into the surrounding soil from the water injection device 14, thereby a close contact state of the buried pipe 1 and the surrounding soil is relaxed. And then, by connecting the new pipe 7 with one end side of the cut buried pipe 1 and axially towing the buried pipe 1 to the other end side together with the cable 5, the new pipe 7 is replaced, while drawing/recovering the buried pipe 1 from the ground.</p> |
