PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fitting a large-sized stereoscopic camera which can secure the surface precision of a base plate and make the camera lightweight although the camera is made larger by limiting the place of the bas plate where a camera surface is fixed and using plastic materials for fitting auxiliary members at both the ends of the base plate. SOLUTION: Cameras 2a and 2b and their lens hoods 1a and 1b are fitted to both the ends of a base plate 5. Cables of power supply and video signal lines are connected to the cameras 2a and 2b, led into a substrate protection cover 4, and connected to the outer side by connectors 6, 7a, and 7b. Brackets 8a and 8b of plate type plastic deformation material are fitted to both the ends of the base plate 5. The cameras are fixed to the posts of fixation parts by the center part of the base plate and the brackets 8a and 8b at both the ends. Even if the posts are slightly different in height, they can be fixed without straining the base plate because of the plastic deformation of the brackets.
