PURPOSE: Provided is an adapter for water tap having a function of purifying tap water, which makes it possible to use tap water as drinking water or dishwashing water in need. CONSTITUTION: The adapter(4) for water tap comprises a connector(6) installed on a tap water pipe; a cylinder(10) which penetrates the connector(6) horizontally; an orifice formed on one side of the cylinder; and a plunger(22) to be inserted into the cylinder(10) through a guide hole(32) of a cap(30).
